Z Grills Wood Pellet Grills: A Little Background

With Z Grills Wood Pellet Grills you get a stylish, easy to use, back yard experience, from a well established company. Z Grills has been making grills for over 30 years. They started out as a manufacturer for other brand’s pellet grills and eventually decided to make their own.

What they came up with was a sturdy and far more affordable wood pellet grill.

Z Grills Wood Pellet Grills: The negatives

We had the hardest time finding anything negative about z grills wood pellet grills.

The only things we could pick on were the price, maintenance, and the fact that you have to keep ordering the pellets and gas.

The price is affordable compared to other pellet grills and smokers but it is still an investment.

Maintenance is something you have to keep up with on all grills. This is on the “negative list” because you do have to learn the specifics for these grills.

Cleanliness must be maintained for the grill to continue to work correctly.

There are specific instructions on the site and in the user guide. But I want to point out that this true for most appliances.

The main negative is the continual ordering of the pellets and gas. If you intend to use your grill often you will need to factor in these extra costs in to the final total.

So overall not a lot of negatives but you do need to make sure you have the budget to afford these and any other type of grill.

There are several models available depending on the needs or wants of the user. This is to say there is a base model, a top model, and everything in between.

Most griller’s know that a good grill costs a fair amount of money and that there are maintenance costs when it comes to refilling the gas and wood pellets. These grills are not for the causal user.

If you have the money and the grilling bug, there is no better grill.

  1. Hi – the Z Grills Wood Pellet Grill sounds amazing. I love grilling, almost always grill several times a week. I love the Pro “Added flavor of Wood”, that is so important to me, and absolutely don’t like the charcoal mess that constantly needs cleaning. Thank you for your informative post.
    Take care,

    1. They do have a portable series, a couple are listed above! They are absolutely made for the outdoors! The different models use different materials so if you have a metal preference you can pick that specific model.

  2. Lately, my brother has been going on and on about getting a wood pellet grill. The Z Grills Wood Pellet Grill is actually one of the ones he has been debating on. I’m going to share this with him because I think it will make up his mind for him. It definitely has me leaning towards Z Grills.
