Ease of use
We have personally tested the Amazon Fire HD 8 tablet in our own home.
We purchased this tablet as our new entertainment source after our old tablet died. It was out of date and we needed a new one anyway. We watch all our tv on the tablet so this was not a hard choice.
We have a three-year-old to watches “his shows” on the tablet. PBS is a life saver. Sometimes, we even log in to the Wi-Fi at the local grocery store and let him watch while we are running much needed errands.
Switching between apps is a breeze!
This is perfect for popping on the counter and watching while in the kitchen, or just sitting on the porch.
The Amazon Fire HD 8 is also big enough for the adults to sit together and enjoy a show (not just for solo viewing.)
We have not tested the 12-hour battery fully. So far, the longest it has been unplugged is 6 hours. Actually 5 and half hours on a trip back home.
Which Amazon Fire HD 8 is right for you?
Choosing between the models is easy because all you need to do is pick the size of the screen. 8 inches or 10 inches. Then pick a color! Simple!
